Theater Arts and Enrichment

Under the guidance of the director and staff of The Double Edge Theater, the students of 2003-2004 crafted an original theater performance complete with recorded music and percussion provided by one of the students. Through improvisation and collaboration, students developed their own choreography and story line based on paintings by Marc Chagall. They created costumes and larger-than-life-sized puppets, and made decisions about lighting, music, and props. Students performed their production at the Double Edge Theater in Ashfield at the end of the year to an audience of parents and friends.

In the 2005-2006 school year, students are again working with the director of The Double Edge Theater, in a creative and challenging pursuit that we hope will become a regular part of life at Eagle Mountain.
